I was really happy to see that despite the time when Casablanca was made, Sam (Louis Armstrong, the only black man in the picture) wasn’t made out to be a caricature 

He was a cool dude who played piano at the bar

There was one scene though where Ilsa demanded that Sam play her a song and I just knew he was like

“Bitch I’mma play you this song but I ain’t happy about it….tch, white people.”
