Give me a moment to explain why I fudging love Chuck’s weapon.
Fig one: To activate it, Chuck just has to press some sort of computer built-in on his wrist.
Fig two: Look at those robot things mold onto his arm! They just appear and crawl. And that gust of air that pushes his bangs away…
Fig three: They seem to be be floating pieces of data or whatever, and they attach themselves in mid air.
Fig four: Look at that. I love that.
Fig five: Chuck’s Slingshot is just awesome.
Makes me wonder. Is Chuck a robot himself?? It’s a headcanon!

David Vandervoort, who did character design work for Motorcity, designed a technique called “Facinator” for Titmouse Inc. which allowed the animators to see every possible angle of a characters head. Using a built in in-house plug-in for Flash the animators were able to use the program to achieve fluid head motion. David also created all the head rigs for the show.
